Honestly, it was completely different. When I was alone, people constantly approached me and it could feel overwhelming. With the hosts, I felt safe, comfortable and welcomed throughout the entire experience. Because they know the area and the people so well, we could explore the hidden streets and local food spots of Old Delhi without feeling uncomfortable.We also had access to places and a local mega kitchen that I would never have found as an independent traveller.
