New Delhi Shopping & Fashion

While on my first 2 week business trip to India, I spent the weekend in Delhi. I thought that shopping would be a great way to experience the city. I was correct. Shehla and her teammate picked me up directly from the JW Marriott and brought me to Chandi Chowk market and found beautiful stores with jewelry, hand stitched pashminas, rugs, and clothing. We also then walked to the spice market, very vibrant. She then took me on a bicycle taxi and got to experience the scene which was thrilling and authentic.We then got in a car and went to upscale Khan Market and found my wife beautiful clothes, dresses for my daughters, and cotton table cloth.If you’re a business person on travel in Delhi and looking to experience the city I highly recommend Shehla and team. Very nice, very accommodating.

What a memorable day! My driver, Sahil, and my shopping consultant, Shehla, were an incredible team. They picked me up at my Noida hotel and we spent the day together talking history, culture and shopping. Sahil has a broad knowledge of history and Indian culture, which added so much to my experience. Shehla took me shopping at a lovely center that offered textiles, jewelry, art and rugs. We also went, at my request, to the Old Delhi spice market and to buy ribbon. We even rode a rickshaw together! I felt like I really got to see Old Delhi, and both Sahiil and Shehla were absolutely lovely to spend the day with. I am grateful for them giving me an unforgettable experience in Delhi. (and the shopping was amazing!)

As a solo female traveler visiting New Delhi for a short layover , Shela provided exactly what I was looking for. She took the time to understand my specific style, needs, and budget, showing incredible attentiveness and thought. Safety was a top priority; we had a private driver in an air-conditioned car who navigated the city seamlessly and waited for us at every stop. Shela’s deep knowledge of New Delhi added so much value, as she shared fascinating insights into local history and food while we shopped. Pro tip: bring your favorite outfits, as you can easily have them replicated by a local tailor! Thanks to Shela and her driver, I felt incredibly safe, comfortable, and efficient—we managed to accomplish so much in just a few hours before my early morning flight (meeting at 5 PM right after I landed and shopping hard until 10 PM). Highly recommended!

This was my second time working with Shehla, and again, a wonderful and productive trip! Thanks to her excellent knowledge of Delhi's shopping scene, I was able to find an embarrassingly large quantity of beautiful fabric to take home with me. Her driver is an excellent source of knowledge of the historical sites in the area, as well. They were able to customize a hybrid outing for me that allowed me to visit historical sites as well find make the purchases I had hoped for - truly the best of both worlds!

Shehla was an excellent guide! She helped me navigate both Old and New Delhi in my quest for attire for a wedding, spices, and other things I hadn't realized were options. Thanks to her expert knowledge of Chandni Chowk and trusted shops there, I found everything I needed in a single day, with no worries about getting lost. A far better first day exploring Delhi than I ever hoped for!

An easy five stars for this private shopping tour with lovely Shelah and her driver RK. They made me feel totally at ease and told me a lot about Delhi while making sure I was able to purchase everything I wanted. Shelah and I even went on a Rickshaw tour and she treated me to the best samosas in Delhi. They safely delivered me back to my hotel. I had a wonderful time. I would HIGHLY recommend booking this tour.

This was my second tour with Shehla and it was again wonderful. This time, my husband joined on his first time to India and Delhi. It was a great experience for him to get out into the city, even if he wasn’t too excited about the shopping. We decided to get several clothing items made, which will be delivered to our hotel in three days. We also got spices. We stopped at the other standard shops with jewelry, but I decided not to get anything this time. The shop owners were still friendly and there wasn’t any pressure. Shehla reached out as soon as booked to ask what I’d like to do. She remembered my “no rugs, no pashminas” request from last time 🤭 the driver was safe and provided us some great history of Delhi. Shehla kindly inquired whether we wanted to get a meal before we headed back to the hotel, but by then we were ready to call it a day. If you want to really get into Delhi and do shopping of all kinds, definitely book with Shehla. I’m confident I’ll be back to see her at some point in the future!

Shehla and RK were fantastic! I booked a few days beforehand because I couldn’t leave Delhi without venturing into the markets, but didn’t want to go alone. They met me at the airport and away we went. They helped me check off all the things on my list I had wanted to purchase, guided me through the market and chatted along the way. As a solo traveler, I felt incredibly safe and well taken care of, this shopping tour is the perfect way to spend a day, if ever in India, I’d book again and wouldn’t hesitate. Shikha and RK were incredible on our day in Delhi! Shikha took us to a bunch of incredible stores and she made sure we understood everything that was going on. She helped us understand what was a good price and where the good stores are.I would recommend this tour!

Shikha was a terrific companion for the day! Rahis was a wonderful driver and quite the historian! We checked off everything that I wanted to see from custom made traditional outfits to factory direct less expensive ones, foods, spices, and even the post office. The markets in old Delhi knocked my socks off! Highly recommend for your first day here since you’ll experience many neighborhoods, the sights and sounds of India, the people and so much more!! I know your tour will be fully customizable as she reached out to me before I even got here to see what interested me.

I traveled to India for the first time solo. I felt very safe. My flight landed late and Shehla & the driver were very patient with me so I could complete my shopping list.

We had a wonderful time exploring fabric shops and Old Delhi markets. We saw beautiful fabrics, trims, embroidered shoes and spices and tried some local foods. We also got bespoke clothes made for the next day. Shehla was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating, and all of her contacts were very helpful. Her colleague Sahil also shared interesting information about landmarks and Indian history. Highly recommend if you like shopping and maybe don't dare to explore Old Delhi markets on your own.
